Ryan Yamada

Ryan Yamada credits his island roots of family and togetherness when explaining the team-based Carson Wealth approach.  As a member of the Wealth Enhancement Group, Ryan’s enjoys nerding-out on the little details with the goal of helping clients make educated and informed decisions about their lives and their money.

A graduate of Creighton University, Ryan’s entrance into the Financial Services industry came five years ago when he started with a local Fortune 500 insurance company. Having a background focused in personal insurance and maximizing employee benefits, Ryan began to specialize in helping individuals prepare for and transition into retirement. Understanding a balanced risk-mitigation approach as a part of a wholistic plan became part of his core philosophy and has allowed clients to feel true peace of mind when thinking about their financial futures. Ryan holds his Series 6, 63 and 65 registrations in addition to being insurance licensed, and believes that clients should know the difference between advice centered around a product versus a comprehensive solution from a true Fiduciary.

When he’s not in the office, Ryan can be found doing food photography on his latest cooking projects or on the mats teaching adult Jiu-jitsu classes. Ryan and his girlfriend, Shannon are pushovers for their dog Sadie, and enjoy evening walks around the Old Market where they live.

Ryan’s sweet tooth for chocolates and baked goods can only be trumped by a slice of pizza.

His favorite holiday is Christmas because of his annual pilgrimage home to visit his family in Hawaii.
